During the Game Awards 2023, Ninja Theory and Xbox showed up with a new trailer forSenua’s Saga: Hellblade 2. In it, protagonist Senua makes her way through an Iceland controlled by Viking raiders, with snippets of combat amid the terror. You can take a look to at the trailer below:

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 wasshown off earlier in the yearduring the Xbox Games Showcase in June 2023, where Ninja Theory debuted a more contemplative trailer focusing on the voices that Senua is faced with through her internal struggles.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is still slated to launch at some point in 2024, arriving exclusively on Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC, as well as being available day one throughXbox Game Pass.

This game continues to look absolutely amazing, and I love the overall tone the developers are opting for. That said, it is just a bit weird that we don’t have a firm release date yet. Hopefully that changes early on next year, and I can definitely imagine that Microsoft might hold another Developer_Direct presentation that could include Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 and other titles.
