At the September GlowtimeApple event, the Cupertino company revealed theiPhone 16family,iPhone 16 Proand theiPhone 16 Pro Maxcoming in hard to bring some compelling upgrades.
These range from a new main camera, bigger batteries, a powerfulA18 Prochip, to larger displays and being ready forApple Intelligence. And there’sthe new Camera Control button.
As such, these are two iPhones that may have caught your eye. So when will they be released?
Well that’s an easy question to answer: September 20 for both models.
And, at the time of writing,iPhone 16 pre-orders go live September 13, so you have time to secure one of the new phones ahead of their release. Both the pre-order and release days are on a Friday.
If you get a pre-order in on September 13, then there’s a good chance you could take delivery of an iPhone 16 Pro or 16 Pro Max on September 20. As it stands, we’re not predicting any shipping delays or stock shortages.
But both phones offer enough to have people upgrading from theiPhone 14 ProandiPhone 14 Pro Max, and maybe even fromiPhone 15models. So it would be smart to jump on a pre-order ahead of the release date to avoid any disappointment, if the new Pro iPhones garner more attention than we expected.
