Diablo 4’s latest update makes it easier to respec, adds a DPS training dummy, and more

Blizzardhas just released another update forDiablo IV, pushing the game toversion 1.2.1. The update includes many bug fixes for all platforms and addresses a few issues brought up by the community. Blizzard shared in a developer’s note that Diablo players were frequently reworking all or almost all of their Paragon Points, but the process was time-consuming. To speed things up, Blizzard has added a “Refund All” button to Paragon Boards. Gold income from Whispers has also increased, so players can afford all those respecs.

Other notable changes in the 1.2.1 patch include the addition of a training dummy so players can test out their freshly respeced build. Players can find the entrance to Kyovashad in an underground room. The room contains a stash, and players can toggle between one dummy or a small group of dummies. The dummy’s difficulty can be toggled between Normal, Elite, or Boss.

The patch increased drops of Potent Blood from Blood Wells, reduced the search area for all Whispers that required players to find and kill a specific monster, and added additional information to the Vampiric Powers tooltips and upgrade screen. The complete patch notes can be found below:

Concerning the issue where Reins of the Bloody Liquid Steed Mount cosmetic is not being rewarded to players after defeating the Echo of Lilith, the developers have noted that the reward will be granted retroactively for any players that have already fulfilled the reward conditions. Players will receive their mount after installing patch 1.2.1 and logging in.
